ARMS Ltd has previously worked closely with Alstom Power during the construction of the Kusile Power Station near Witbank, South Africa. This was a large project consisting of  6 generating units with an eventual capacity of 800 MW each bringing the total installed capacity of 4,800 MW. This was a major undertaking and ARMS Ltd were instrumental in assisting the project to create and maintain a very strong safety culture.

Now as an operational plant and under the O&M of GE Vernova we are proud to say were asked by the Regional Leader for Steam Power to return to help consolidate and build on the safety culture within the operational team. We developed a bespoke approach around our ‘6 key attitudes to risk’ and rolled this programme out during September and early October 2024. The results speak for themselves:

The average ‘positive attitude shift’ across all project attendees was a satisfying: 37%

Programme feedback rated the “Usefulness of the Workshops” an average: – 99% (4.95/5)
